For the past two decades, the Middle East has been in the forefront of innovation and breathtaking progress. Infrastructure and skyscrapers have been sprouting all over.

Despite this frenzy however, in it’s core, the Middle East still has one of the most conservative and traditional societies in the world. Family, Prayer, and Devotion still has a place in this “Desert of Lights”

Mosque in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain….behind is the twin towers of the Bahrain Financial Harbour on the left and the windmill turbines of the Bahrain World Trade Center on the right..
